Does Jesus care when we are hurting inside? Are we alone in our griefs? Does God even understand what we are going through? Can He help and comfort us?
If you are going through fear and dread; if you said goodbye to someone dear; if you water your bed with tears through the night; know that there's someone who care.
Jesus!
He sees your tear-stained face and feel deeply your pain. Only He can truly comfort you and ease your heartache.
Jesus does care! He cares so much that He gave His life for us. He suffered for us; He knew the pain of separation as He was separated from the Father at a moment in time.
He is known as 'a man of sorrow'.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
In 2 Corinthians, Paul describes our God as the God of all comfort. Why? Could it be that because of the sufferings of Christ, the Father who abides in Him, understand our sorrows and therefore able to comfort us in all our tribulation?
Is it because in the suffering of the Son, God the Father suffered too? For certainly, it pained the Father to see the grief of His Son.
I believe it is so and more. God here is so intrinsically one with the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul in his letter to the Corinthians linked the suffering of the Son with the mercies and the ability to comfort of the Father in 3 scripture verses.
The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. Wow!!!
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
Suffering has its place in life. It is not forever. It has a time span. Most importantly, when we suffer, God comforts us. And then when we see others suffering, we who have been comforted by God, comfort them.
May we when we are in trouble learns to go to God for comfort. Cast our care onto Jesus. And after we have been comforted, let's look out for other who are going through a hard time and be a an encourager and a comforter to them.

Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth and song;
As the burdens press, and the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?
O yes, He cares- I know He cares!
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary,
The long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares. (He cares.)
Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?
Does Jesus care when I've tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief I find no relief,
Tho my tears flow all the night long?
Does Jesus care when I've said goodbye
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. - 1 Peter 5:7 KJV
